Game information:

Hundreds years of traveling through time and space are over, but not the
actual story. The fate of humanity that has been forced to leave dying
Earth and flee to the deadly worlds of the Psychosphere is once again in
your hands.

The Exodus, lead by the wise Spirits has been searching for the New Earth.
The Harkback has lost faith in Spirits, throw off their rule and decided to
head back for the Old Earth, not believing its death. They refused to
believe in death of their planet. Both sides took the final step on their
way, but the chain has enclosed and mortal enemies entered the same planet
face to face.

What has caused the great Chain of Worlds to form a circle? Where has the
dream about a new home led people? Are Exodus and Harkback controlling their
own fate or are they just mere tools in somebodys hands? What are the true
origins and intention of the Empire? All these and more new secrets of
the Perimeter.

* Territorial warfare, based on the conflict of water and ground, brings
gameplay to a new dimension.
* Unit transformation assures quick and effective reaction to the events
on the battlefield as well as tactical diversity.
* Newly introduced Action-elements: players can enter the battle using
the Providence - a Tactical Manipulator of Direct Action - and its super
attacks: such as huge explosions, meteor showers, and more.
* Newly introduced RPG-elements: players can dig the gaming maps in search
of psy-crystals that are used to unlock and upgrade Providence's super
attacks. Furthermore, psy-crystals unlock important secrets about the
past of New Earth.
* Exodus - the greatest expedition in the history of mankind, has reached
its goal. But does it mean the end of suffering? And if New Earth is a
trap, what will be the cost?

Perimeter 2: New Earth to kontynuacja dość ciepło przyjętej przez graczy strategii czasu rzeczywistego, przygotowanej przez naszych wschodnich sąsiadów, firmę deweloperską K-D Lab. Choć idea rozgrywki pozostała niezmieniona – walka o nowe tereny obfitujące w surowce oraz możliwość ich terraformingu – to całość okraszono jednak nowymi pomysłami oraz rozwiązaniami technologicznymi.Fabularnie Perimeter 2 łączy się ze swoim „przodkiem” kontynuując historię w nim opowiedzianą – exodus cywilizacji w poszukiwaniu Nowej Ziemi wreszcie dobiega końca. Planeta, na którą natknięto się podczas podróży, może stanowić uwieńczenie podróży, ale to zależy tylko i wyłącznie od gracza. Być może ta długo oczekiwana Nowa Ziemia okaże się pułapką? A jeśli tak, to jaką cenę przyjdzie zapłacić za wyrwanie się z niej? Dodatkowo do gry wchodzi nowy element, a może raczej żywioł – woda, którą tak jak i ląd należy okiełznać. Perimeter 2 wykorzystuje ulepszoną wersję autorskiego silnika K-D Lab, VistaGame Engine, dzięki czemu rozgrywka zarówno pod względem wizualnym jak i możliwych do wykorzystania funkcjonalności, stoi na wyższym poziomie od swego poprzednika. Wprowadzenie do rozgrywki wody dało całkiem nowe możliwości „walki” z naturą – teraz możemy przykładowo zatopić obszary nizinne bądź też dzięki osuszeniu zbiorników wodnych zyskać nowe tereny. Dodatkowo świat, w którym toczy się rozgrywka ciągle ulega zmianom, tak więc musimy dostosowywać swoją strategię do nowych wyzwań stawianych przed nami.Podczas rozgrywki można prowadzić poszukiwania specjalnych przedmiotów, tzw. kryształów psi. Mogą one posłużyć do odkrycia specjalnych ataków czy umiejętności, a następnie ich ulepszania. Kryształy te zawierają także bardzo ważne informacje dotyczące przeszłości planety, na której się znajdujemy.
